It’s a proven fact – Marvel Entertainment (owned by Disney) has proven to be a smash hit both on the Big Screen and now most recently with the Small Screen with ABC’s newest hit drama telling the continued tale of “revived” and beloved S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who we also met on the Big Screen Agent Coulson. But who said that the two had to be separated?
In just a few days, Marvel’s next movie “Thor: The Dark World” will open in theaters but the action won’t stop even after the credits. Marvel confirmed that the episode of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” that will air just a few days after the opening of Thor 2 will pick up where the movie left off. Although the episode will tie in with the film somehow, unfortunately you will not be seeing Mr. Hemsworth in his thunder God outfit or his pals from Asgard in the episode. Entitled “The Well”, the episode is being described as the following –
“In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces – one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team.”
Not too telling, but at the same time pretty exciting nonetheless. Yes, the Marvel universe is quickly becoming a part of our universe through the smart cross-promotions like these. Here’s hoping we get a “marvel”-ous surprise when the episode airs on Tuesday, November 19.
