If there’s one reason why you should get Pixar’s “Incredibles 2” on Blu-ray, it’s two. There’s two new pieces of extra content that are included in the bonus features that provide some signifiant value.
The first is “Auntie Edna,” which is an all-new short created by Pixar to fill us in on something that we didn’t get to see in the actual movie – what exactly happened when Edna Mode became babysitter to Jack-Jack while Mr. Incredible sought a break from parenting.
From what we saw in the short, it’s incredibly funny and entertaining – at Edna’s expense, but for the better, obviously!
And speaking of animated short, there’s also another special featurette that goes into the making of “Bao,” the amazing animated short that showed in front of “Incredibles 2.” Director and writer Domee Shi takes us behind-the-scenes for what it took to create her animated masterpiece.
Hint: it actually took making real bao buns as taught by her mom to get the animators in the mood to create the hunger-inducing short.
There’s a lot more bonus content included on the Blu-ray and the digital HD version of “Incredibles 2,” so be sure to pick up a copy now!
