Back In Iron

We already know that “The Avengers” is a hit. How do you beat that? You make another hit, of course!

Today, Disney announced that MARVEL has “begun principal photography,” or began filming for ‘Iron Man 3’ which is due out for release in theaters a little less than a year from now on May 3, 2013!

Filming started in Wilmington, North Carolina and will eventually travel to Raleigh/Durham, NC, Miami, Florida, and China.

Above, you’ll see two pictures. One provided by Disney showing Iron Man himself Robert Downey Jr. alongside his suits. The other picture provided by Yahoo! News shows Iron Man’s enemy in this film named “Iron Patriot,” aka Eric Savin which will be played by actor James Badge Dale (TV’s ‘24’, ‘The Departed’)
