MANIA! A Look Back At The Grand Opening Of Toy Story Mania!

We’re starting our countdown to our coverage of the grand opening events and debuts in the new DCA! We’ll begin one week from today, June 13 and as we approach the bright future of the new re-imagined Disney California Adventure, we want to take the time to look at where this Park has transformed from.

Many of you, including us here at DisneyExaminer, have seen all the construction walls go up and all of them come down one by one. We were privileged enough to see the first construction walls come down as part of this 5-year expansion at DCA with the grand opening of Toy Story Mania! all the way back in June of 2008.

We thought it might be fun to look back at DCA history by taking a look at DisneyExaminer history as well by bringing back some pictures from our coverage for that event! In addition to the Toy Story Mania! Grand Opening, you’ll see pictures from the debut of the Pixar Play Parade, as well as our EXCLUSIVE visit to the Disneyland Dream Suite – a hotel room inside Disneyland Park!
