Electric Holiday?

We’ve seen some pretty abstract things when searching for content for our stories and this one happens to be one of them that we are willing to share with you.
Last week, Disney unveiled their newest partnership with Barneys New York, a high-end fashion company and retailer. The partnership comes in the form of creating Barneys world-famous holiday display windows in its store in New York City, but its what you’ll see in those windows that’ll get you scratching your heads.
In the windows you’ll see the dressing up the five favorite and iconic Disney characters in, well, fashionable clothing. The whole piece is called ‘Electric Holiday’ and per the description given to us goes –
Join Minnie Mouse and your favorite Disney characters on a fabulous fashion adventure in Paris, with special guest stars along the way. Plus, for a limited time, visit Barneys New York’s Electric Holiday store for exclusive limited-edition holiday gifts, from designer Mickey Mouse ears to children’s toys and sweet treats.
In his speech at the window display’s unveiling, Bob Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, it’s an opportunity to keep these iconic characters timeless, chic, and modern.

We really want to hear from you all on this one. What do you all think? Is it a good thing to dress up these childhood characters or is it a bad thing to make the Fab Five more “adult”?
