Agent Carter Comes To ABC.

You may not know her name, but you do know who she is. And if you still don’t know who she is, then you will soon now that she’ll be coming to a TV set near you.

Marvel and Disney ABC Television have announced that another Marvel TV series will debut on ABC network. Tbe new series will focus on Agent Carter (played by Hayley Atwell) and will chronicle her life as we’ve seen it in the “Captain America” movies that we’ve seen so far. From what we know of Peggy Carter so far is apparently only the surface of a much larger story that she has and the bigger part she plays in the Marvel Universe.

The synopsis of “Marvel’s Agent Carter” is below:

The story is set in 1946 and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life — Steve Rogers.

In addition to the new show, Disney/ABC Television has also renewed the other Marvel TV series “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” for a second season. Although ratings and viewership for the series featuring Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg), Disney and Marvel are trusting that it’ll bounce back with the new season, as well as a new “Agent” on TV as well.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 2 will debut in Fall 2014. No word on when “Marvel’s Agent Carter” will debut, but we’ll update this story once we find out!
