This past Thursday, we had the opportunity to take part in the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) where we got to visit the Disney Interactive booth, which took the form of a city taken out from a super hero film…and rightfully so with the addition of Marvel characters to version 2.0 of their flagship video game.
Disney Infinity 2.0 was open for demoes for the first time to E3 attendees. After its initial announcement in May, we got a hands-on look at the next version of the game that now features Marvel super heroes like Iron Man, Captain America. Spiderman will also be in the game for users to play after being announced at the Expo.
Additionally, Merida from Disney*Pixar’s “Brave” and Maleficent from the recent live-action film release will also be coming to the game.
Disney Infinity 2.0 continues the dream of Disney of creating a place where all their characters and worlds could be used for play for all of us. From fun campaign modes to their famed “toy box” mode where you can have Iron Man ride Sven the Reindeer or Jack Sparrow driving Agent Coulson’s “Lola”, the gameplay possibilities remain INfinite.
