Disneyland: A most peculiar study spot

March is upon us, and for the college student like me, that means studying for midterms. Now if you’re like me, I want to study somewhere that is both peaceful, and has an ambiance. Libraries and bookstores are ideal places, however there are times when I like to study at The Happiest Place on Earth. These are my favorite places to study at the Disneyland Resort.
1. The Golden Horseshoe, Frontierland
This would probably surprise a lot of you considering how crowded and loud the Golden Horseshoe is, however put on some study music and it’s the perfect place to get in the study zone. Then you can take a break every hour and watch the Golden Horseshoe’s comedy show.
2. Hungry Bear Restaurant, Critter Country
The Hungry Bear Restaurant has one of the most serene and tranquil spots underneath their restaurant located next to the bathrooms. Aside from seeing ducks floating in the water and the Mark Twain passing by, it’s a good spot to read a book or do some homework.
3. Paradise Garden Grill, Paradise Pier
The Paradise Garden Grill restaurant has a large seating area. What makes this place perfect for studying is the how big the area is and its location. It’s right in the corner of the park between Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and Mickey’s Silly Symphony Swings. Not to mention, the food choices are a good choice when I want a snack.
4. Starbucks at Fiddler, Fifer & Pratical Café, Buena Vista Street
It is pretty obvious that I would list Starbucks as one of my favorite spots in the park. I chose this spot because compared to the Starbucks in Disneyland, this one is more spacious and has booths for some privacy. It has good lighting and is inside the park so I can walk around when I take a break from my studies. However the Starbucks in Downtown Disney is a fantastic alternative spot as well, and also has free WiFi!
5. Fifth floor balcony, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel
The last spot is probably my most favorite out of the five on this list. Although its outside the park, it’s literally five floors, and a few hundred feet away from entering Disney California Adventure. I really like this spot because it’s very relaxing and it has quite the view of the pool and Disney California Adventure in the background.

Have you ever thought about Disneyland as a place to study? Let us know where your favorite spots are!
I love to study at the Grand! Been doing so for a few weeks since I wait for my bf to finish his closing shift. It’s been great, however, even though I am not bothering anyone, or taking other people’s space, Disney security kicked me out even though I was clearly on my iPad and laptop. She said I can find “desks in the lobby by the chimney” but there are none, of course. Have you guys encountered this before? Can they do that?
