UNIQLO meets Disney. Again.

UNIQLO is a brand of Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., a leading global Japanese retail holding company, that produces affordable, casual, and high quality apparel that is fit for all ages. They are now on to their next venture, partnering with Disney to create Disney-inspired clothing that is sure to suit enthusiastic fans in all the right places.

In 2009, UNIQLO began it’s partnership with Disney Consumer Products with the launch of its first collection of Disney UTs (UNIQLO T-shirts), which featured iconic Disney characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Since then, UNIQLO has taken their own concept of creating clothes that are MADE FOR ALL and now have extended it with the global collaboration of Disney Consumer Products to introduce MAGIC FOR ALL. The new collaboration exhibits retail innovation by combining both UNIQLO LifeWear Fashions and Disney Magic.

MAGIC FOR ALL will introduce new UNIQLO LifeWear items beginning in fall 2015. Not only will the collaboration be limited to UT and parkas, but products will extend to Ultra Light Downs, fleeces, flannel shirts, and even plush toys and umbrellas! Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will still be amongst the characters featured in products with the addition of popular characters from Star Wars, Pixar Animation, Marvel, and Disney’s Frozen.

New UNIQLO stores, which will include the anticipated Disney products, are expected to open soon. A concept store specifically designed to allow customers to have the MAGIC FOR ALL experience will launch in Shanghai, China at the end of September. This store will occupy the 5th floor of the largest UNIQLO retail store worldwide.

Can’t wait til the fall? Well, there’s good news for all you UNIQLO + Disney fans!

UNIQLO is the official clothing partner of D23, the official Disney fan club and exposition for The Walt Disney Company.

Fun fact: The working Disney staff of D23 will be rocking UNIQLO UTs, polo shirts, and jackets designed specifically for the event.

Although the MAGIC FOR ALL line is scheduled to come out this fall, consumers and fans will have an exclusive introduction to it at the D23 EXPO. UNIQLO will have a pop-up store to reveal some of the new products people can expect this fall, which includes limited edition UTs featuring art by the chief creative of Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, John Lasseter!
