Thanksgiving is a great holiday, if for no other reason than it gives all who celebrate it a chance to totally pig out. The food is, traditionally, incredibly delicious and incredibly abundant at almost every Thanksgiving party you’d attend.

Thanksgiving food is great on its own, but for many Disney-lovers out there there’s always one way to improve the meal – have a Disney-inspired dish or two! Whether you’re bringing a dish to a potluck or cooking the whole meal, consider slipping in some Disney magic to make your already-amazing Thanksgiving that much better.

Below are some Disney-inspired Thanksgiving dish ideas. You can find many versions of these with a simple google search, but we’ve also provided links to possible recipes – all credit goes to their creators!

Ratatouille – inspired by Ratatouille

Need a vegetable side dish that’s both delicious and nutritious? This Pixar-inspired dish will be a colorful addition your Thanksgiving meal. There are many ways to make this dish, but whether you slice the vegetables into circles like Remy or simply chop them up and stew them together, your guests will definitely love this dish.

Spinach Puffs – inspired by Emperor’s New Groove

If you’re more into finger foods, this is the side dish for you! Spinach puffs, like the ones Kronk made in Emperor’s New Groove, are sure to make anyone smile. And, as Kronk said himself, “they’re so easy to make!”

Gooseberry-Blueberry Tartlettes – inspired by Snow White

This recipe is another great finger food idea that’d be a wonderful dessert to any Thanksgiving meal. Inspired by Snow White’s gooseberry pie, tartlettes like these will charm even the grumpiest of guests.

Tea – inspired by Alice in Wonderland (and many other Disney films!)

Tea is a great way to end a meal – it settles your stomach and warms you up against the holiday chill. Try ending your meal with some teas already inspired by Disney, or share some of your favorites with your guests!

Make your holiday season even more magical with these Disney recipes! We’d love to see your creations so share your meals with us on Twitter and Instagram by tagging @DisneyExaminer. Happy eating!
