The same trend was also seen on the mobile photo–sharing app, Instagram, this year with Disney and Universal theme parks being the top two most geotagged locations. Undoubtedly, social networks like Facebook and Instagram are a great marketing tool for gauging public interest and engaging with consumers. It is also an excellent platform for creating communities with shared interests like, for example, going to Disneyland.
As we head into the new year and with Hogwarts Castle coming to Hollywood, do you think Disney will hold onto its number one spot? (We’re looking at you, Universal).
