Someone created an animated version of Fantasmic! to make us miss it even more at Disneyland
I already miss Fantasmic!
The fan-favorite show has gone dark (i.e. is not currently being presented) at Disneyland Park for over a year due to the impending Star Wars-themed land construction. While I and I’m sure many of you are experiencing sadness with the show gone, some super creative Disney fans have created something to help us deal with our loss. I think.
A YouTube video has surfaced that features the entire iconic Fantastic! score set animated images from the Disney animated films that the nighttime show takes from. The very beginning of the show features scenes from Fantasia and the Peter Pan scene shows scenes from the Disney animated film with Peter fighting Captain Hook. It even has some special effects to mimic the show’s pyro effects!
It was a video that was very much well done in selecting the right clips and syncing it with the music we’ve come to know and love. And hum to.
No doubt that you’ll be watching this video to either cure your symptoms of Fantasmic! withdrawls.
Or potentially make them worse.
