What could replace the Mad T Party at DCA?

As you may have heard, Disney Parks Blog announced the end of the Diamond Mad T Party. The last serving of T will be March 30, which may come as a surprise considering Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass will hit theaters May 27, 2016.

Though it’s sad to see it go, here are some ideas of what could replace it.

Food & Wine Festival

DCA Food Wine Festival

Since the area has entertainment and alcohol, Food & Wine Festival would be a good fit! The Festival begins April 1st, giving Disney about half a month to transform the location.

A distinguishing feature will be new Festival Marketplaces, where guests can sip and savor delicious flavors from throughout the state of California.

Perhaps it can be used for the culinary demonstrations, appearances by celebrity chefs, or seminars they will host.

Live Music

The location has been used for ElecTRONica, Mad T Party, and Frozen Freeze The Night, so perhaps Disney will continue with themed live music. Considering the Tomorrowland Terrace is closed for renovation, live music seems like a good option in entertaining guests. Imagine a Star Wars or Marvel themed band! (Maybe they’d serve Iron Man-hattans or Star Wars themed drinks like a Qui-Gon Ginn Rickey or a Han Shot First)

More Frozen

Since Frozen is replacing Aladdin at the Hyperion Theater, maybe Frozen can also replace The Mad T Party-again! Think about it: Anna and Elsa can sing and dance, Elsa can use her powers to make it snow…Just kidding. This is only listed as a joke…. Disney, please, no more Frozen. Let it go, let it go, we don’t want any more!

What do you think Disney will use the area for?
