A Whole New World of Alan Menken comes to SoCal
Many would agree that what makes Disney films so iconic is their music. Who could forget the joy of “Under the Sea,” the romance of “Tale as Old as Time,” or the awe of “I See the Light”? For many of us these songs are important parts of our lives, and now, for one night only, you can celebrate the man who made this music possible.
On September 30, 2016, The Segerstrom Center for the Arts will present A Whole New World of Alan Menken – a one-man show featuring the Disney Legend himself performing his music and sharing his stories. You can join Menken, an award-winning composer and songwriter for movies like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and even Sausage Party, in a night of celebrating some of his most iconic works.
