Listen to the first public performance of “Let It Go” from Disney’s “Frozen” Broadway musical

2017 is well underway and there are so many Disney things that are happening and will be happening in the next few months.

For starters, Disney Theatrical Productions will be debuting the highly-anticipated full stage musical version of Disney’s “Frozen.” Set to debut in the fall, the show will feature extended scenes, new songs, and potentially new characters that will tell the billion dollar tale of Arendelle.

Much of the show’s production progress has been kept a big secret, but a few weeks ago, the first preview of the production surfaced. During a special Disney Musicals concert put on by the BBC concert orchestra in London, attendees got to hear the revamped version of the iconic song from the film “Let It Go.” Listen to the song by clicking play in the player below.

The new version features what seems like multiple characters from the film singing the song. While it remains unclear on if they will or if this arrangement of the song was made just for the concert, it does sound more full and leads to unanswered questions about the rest of the musical. Does it even make sense for people like Hans, Kristoff, and Anna to sing Elsa’s song?

We’ll find out when the show goes into previews in Denver, Colorado beginning August 17 at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets haven’t gone on sale yet, but be sure to subscribe for updates on the website by clicking HERE.
