For this week’s stop, Jordan and Andy discuss the history of the first celebration of the holiday season at Disneyland. Then, they look forward to the upcoming holiday celebration at the Disneyland Resort and discuss its significance to them while reflecting how it has changed since 1955.

You were not there that first Christmas in 1955. It was a big event for us as pre teens at Fremont Jr High in Anaheim. Fremont choir entertained and sang Christmas carols in Frontier Land on the stage that was set up. I was part of that choir and would love to find some pictures that were taken at that time. I was also in the Anaheim Union High School band and we marched down Main street. I have fond memories of those first few years at Disneyland. My husband worked at the Carnation Ice Cream store on Main Street also.
