Over the weekend, Disney unveiled its pop-up exhibition showcasing the legendary Mickey Mouse in ways you’ve never seen him before.
In celebration of his 90th birthday, Disney partnered with top artists from around the world to showcase the Mouse in every form possible, from paintings to statutes and more. It’s a very large exhibit, taking about two hours to see every installation. Take a look at some of the art in our gallery below.
At its core, the pop-up is a big statement to say that Mickey Mouse is still very relevant and meaningful to everyone in the world, even after nine decades. Who’s to say he won’t be for nine more?
Running from November 8, 2018 – February 10, 2019, ‘Mickey: The True Original Exhibition’ will be open Tuesday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 60 10th Avenue, New York.
Tickets are available for $38 per person at the official website. With selected time slots already selling out for its November debut, guests are encouraged to plan early.
