We rode Rise of the Resistance with one of the lead Imagineers who made it. Here’s what he thinks about it.

A few weeks ago, we were honored to be in Orlando, Florida for the grand opening of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. You know, that spectacular attraction that’s being touted as the most technologically advanced and cinematic experience that Disney has every made.

We certainly think that’s the case, and apparently, that was the intention of the Imagineer teams that created it. While we were waiting to ride the attraction again, we were surprisingly joined by the Imagineer and Lucasfilm leaders that had worked on the attraction for those five years, from beginning to end.

One of those Imagineers was Jon Georges, a creative executive on the project that helped see Batuu at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts through to completion. We caught up with him after our ride to ask a simple question: what does it feel like riding an attraction you helped create?

See his response in the video above exclusively on our YouTube channel!
