2 new contests coming to 2015 D23 Expo

The 2015 D23 Expo is not too far away and the first news about the Expo has been announced!

There will be two new contests happening at the Expo that all attendees are able to take part in. They include Mousequerade and the D23 Expo Design Challenge.

The Mousequerade will be a reworked version of previous year’s costume contests as this year’s contest will invite attendees to dress in pretty much any Disney character or icon, from Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel, and the traditional Disney canon of characters. The winner will receive a trip to Aulani in Hawaii!

The D23 Expo Design Challenge is a reworked version of previous years’ fan art contest and will invite participants to give their artistic rendition of Sleeping Beauty Castle in honor of Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration. 23 finalists will get their art displayed on the D23 Expo show floor and 1 finalist will win the grand prize of “D23-hundred dollars” ($2,300 cash)!
