Here are 23 tips to make the most out of your D23 Expo experience

The D23 Expo is just a few days away and we at DisneyExaminer are excited to be part of this amazing event. For those who don’t know, D23 Expo is the ultimate Disney fan event that brings all the aspects of Disney together under one roof. For three magical days, fans can participate in presentations, meet artists, watch never-before-seen sneak peeks, shop for unique merchandise and much more. D23 Expo gives fans exclusive opportunities to experience the magic of Disney.

Whether it is your first time at the Expo or you are a returning visitor, we want you to have the best time while you are there so here are a few tips to having a fun time at the D23 Expo.

The Night Before The D23 Expo

Tomorrow is the big day. Time to get ready for it, here’s what you need to do:

#1 Charge your electronics. Cell phone, iPod or your camera, it’s a good idea to charge all of your gadgets the night before.

#2 Pack the night before. You don’t want to rush in the morning, especially if you are planning on leaving early. Make a list of things you need and you will be set.

#3 Look over the event schedule. Make sure to look over the schedule a few days before hand and know where they are going to be presented.

#4 Get a good night sleep. You will get the most out of your day if you start your day at the convention early so make sure to get a good night sleep.

The First Day of the D23 Expo

The countdown is over and it’s convention time. With all of your prior preparations, today should be stress-free. Here’s what you should take and what you should expect:

#5 Eat a good breakfast. It will keep you energized throughout the day.

Make sure you have the following:

• #6 A photo ID, money, debit and/or credit card(s)

• #7 Directions to and from the location

• # 8 A light snack and refreshment to keep you full and hydrated

• #9 A cell phone fully-charged

Now that you have all the necessities, it’s time for your day to begin so here we go!

#10 Plan accordingly. Decide which panels, screenings, or signings you want to see and ensure that you will be able to get in line for each of them in time to actually make it in.

#11 Line up early for panels and presentations! Especially the A Goofy Movie 20th anniversary reunion panel and everything in Hall D23 like the highly-anticipated Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts presentations!

#12 Know what to do next. Once you’ve scheduled the events that you want to participate in, fill up the remaining time with simple and accessible fun like…

 #14 Take snacks. It’s incredible how quickly one forgets about meals at a convention so make sure you bring protein bars and granola bars. Keep snacks on hand and make sure you stay hydrated.

#15 Bring water. Remember stay hydrated.

#16 Go off the show floor for food. Food trucks will be available so you can visit them during lunch time.

#17 Wear light, comfortable clothes. Even though the event is indoors, it is still sunny southern California weather so dress comfy.

#18 Wear comfy shoes. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes as well.

#19 You can count on leaving the day with some free stuff. There will be several chances for you to win some cool free prizes! DisneyExaminer, for instance, will be giving away free goodies if you stop by and participate in our scavenger hunt.

#20 Take a light backpack. You need something to put all of your goodies in and if you forget your bag, that is okay because if there is one free thing that you will walk away with at the convention, it’s a free bag!
