a bug’s view.

There has been so much going on at Disney California Adventure (i.e. Cars Land, Buena Vista Street opening) that some things are forgotten.

One of those things we think that has been forgotten is a land that has remained at DCA since the original park had its beginnings in the early 2000s. We’re talking about ‘a bug’s land’.

Since its opening in 2002, ‘a bug’s land’ has remained a unique place for guests of all ages to see what life would be like as a bug, of course! You’re continually reminded of that with larger than life grasses, plants, and even sprinklers surrounding you at every corner.

The land of course features many of your favorite characters from the Pixar movie, as well attractions that are smaller than life for your little bugs too (don’t expect any thrill rides here, folks).

It’s a really unique setting and at least worth the walk through once. It’s really one of those places that you have to see in person to get that feeling and appreciation for it, but if you can’t head down into the grasses, take a look at the video above and have Heimlich take you on a small tour.
