A Monstrously (Crowded) Grad Nite?
YAY! School is almost over for a lot of you and if you’re a high school senior, then there’s one thing (aside from the graduation ceremony itself) that you’re most likely looking forward to – grad night!
If you’re a Southern California high school senior, then you’ll most likely have your grad night at The Happiest Place on Earth which begins its grad nite season soon. Something also is starting soon that might make things a little more “monstrous” for graduates that will be having their Grad Nite on May 24.
For those in the know, you might also realize that Friday, May 24 is also the same day that the other “all-nighter” party called the Monstrous Summer All-Nighter will be taking place, the 24-hour party inside Disneyland and Disney California Adventure that will be kicking off Disney Parks’ summer marketing promotion.
So that leads us into the question that I’m sure most seniors who are celebrating at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on the 24th are asking – how will this affect me? Disneyland gave an “official” answer below –
While some “Monstrous Summer” activities will take place in parts of Disney California Adventure during Grad Nite, your party will still be private. Much of Disney California Adventure becomes Grad Central, including Cars Land and Paradise Pier, where you can enjoy exclusive use of select portions of the park and experience our world-famous attractions including Radiator Springs Racers and Tower of Terror. Be prepared to be wowed too, because we’re adding even more entertainment that will only be offered for the May 24th Grad Nite.
What you grads should also know is that these 24-hour parties are “monstrously” popular with everyone as we saw with One More Disney Day a few years back. So, all we can really tell you grads is that although you’ll have the night of your high school lives at the Disneyland Resort, be sure to bring your patient side.
Oh, and don’t do anything dumb. You’re all better than that!
A early congratulations to you all!
