A show about Disney Parks is coming to ABC

Deadline.com has announced that production company Fazekas and Butters has sold an idea to ABC Studios for a drama that will focus on Disney parks.

According to Nellie Andreeva on Deadline, most of the plot is still a secret, but it will be “based on the Disney theme park mythology.”

We have little reason to doubt Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters – after all, they’ve worked on popular shows like Agent Carter, Dollhouse, and Reaper together. Their shows have undeniably adult undertones, so it’ll be interesting to see what they can bring to the idea of Disney parks.

Of course, it’s difficult to even conceptualize what this new show will look like without much information, and “Disney theme park mythology” leaves much to the imagination. Will the story simply take place in the parks, or will the parks be integral themes themselves? Will we see the parks as they are in reality, or will they simply inspire a new, mythological setting?
