All the Disney-related 2014 Comic-Con events

Comic fans will be united once more when Comic-Con returns to the San Diego Convention Center this year starting July 23! If you didn’t know, Disney (more specifically its brands like Marvel and Lucasfilm) have maintained a presence at the convention, usually debuting a variety of new and exciting things about their popular franchises like Star Wars and The Avengers.

This year remains no exception, so without further delay, here are ALL the Disney-related events that will be taking place during 2014 Comic-Con! Please note that many events are still being announced, so we’ll update this post if and when new events are announced.

Thursday, July 24

Marvel: Breaking into Comics the Marvel Way // Room 7AB // 10:00am – 11:00am

It’s the most epic Spider-Man event of all time as every Spider-Man EVER come together to face a world-ending threat! Senior editor Nick Lowe, Dan Slott (Amazing Spider-Man) and Mark Waid (Daredevil) will be taking any and all questions from you, the fans! This is one panel no Spidey fan can miss!

Star Wars Storyboards: The Original Trilogy // Room 7AB // 11:00am – 12:00pm

For the first time, Lucasfilm has opened its Archives to present comprehensive storyboards for the original Star Wars trilogy-the world-changing A New Hope and its operatic sequels, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi-as well as never-before-published art from early conceptual and deleted scenes, in a new book from Abrams: Star Wars Storyboards: The Original Trilogy. Former ILM art director Joe Johnston will discuss the newest addition to the Abrams Star Wars Library and the singular experience of creating the iconic trilogy’s storyboards with his stellar art department team.
