The “Art” of the Disneyland Band.

The Disneyland Band has been at the park since it opened on July 17,1955 and they are still making people smile today with their magical music!

Art Dragon has been the conductor of the world-famous band for 20 years and has been a member for 30. If you’ve ever been to Disneyland before, you are sure to pass by them as they perform throughout the day. He and the band start their day off in the Resort Esplanade and wind their way (music and all) throughout the morning and the park until their full “concert in the park” in Town Square off Main Street U.S.A. The band consists of 15 cast members play mostly traditional american marches, overtures, ragtime songs, and of course Disney songs.
