Gingerbread Faces of Jack.

We love the Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland for many reasons. It’s still the classic Haunted Mansion attraction that we know and love, but it’s an entirely new attraction come Halloween every year for the past 13 years!

By clashing Tim Burton’s classic nightmarish Christmas world with a classic Disney attraction, you get a lot of spook-tacular surprises that change every year thanks to ‘ol Sandy Claws and the creative minds at Walt Disney Imagineering. One of those ghostly-great surprises that has changed every year and that us happy haunts are always looking forward to seeing is the famous gingerbread house that can be seen in the ballroom.

The gingerbread house, which consists of real gingerbread, has always surprised guests each time Jack Skellington deck’s the halls of the Haunted Mansion Holiday because it’s always different in design. Imagineers and the chefs at the Disneyland Resort begin working on the design for each gingerbread house a year in advance (basically the time Jack leaves the Mansion for the previous year)! This year’s 13th version of the house is the biggest ever and is not a sight (or smell) to be missed.

And you won’t want to miss it either because the house changes every week with new “faces”! Take a look at the video above to see what it took to create this year’s gingerbread dream (or nightmare) house.
