Just about half a year after a great opening reception, Disney’s live-action adaptation of Cinderella (2015) hits the shelves on Blu-Ray and DVD. Presented in stunning HD, the film can now be watched again and again, just like its cartoon predecessor.

Along with the film itself, the usual sound and caption settings, and previews for new films, the disks also contain various special features that can make your experience watching Cinderella even better.

The DVD’s special features include:

  • Frozen Fever: This Frozen-themed short, already well-known for its humor and catchy song “Making Today a Perfect Day”, shows what happens to the characters on Anna’s 18th birthday.

The Blu-Ray is loaded with even more bonus content:

  • A Fairy Tale Comes to Life: In this special feature, the minds behind the film discuss the universality of Cinderella’s story. This feature traces not only the history of the Cinderella, but also allows the writers, actors, and creators to speak on the changes they chose to make in this modern re-telling of the tale.

  • Costume Test Fun: This silly feature shows clips of the cast and crew modeling the costume work of designer Sandy Powell and her team. Fun and lighthearted, these clips show the cast interacting with one another while displaying the diversity of the costumes made for the film.
