Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story.

We’re pretty sure that you’ve at least heard of Vinylmation before. They’re up there in obsession to collectors as Disney pins are and uniquely Mickey shaped. These small vinyl figures usually are covered with different designs. From Disney theme park attractions to your favorite Disney animated characters, Vinylmation has quickly become a thing that every Disney fan should have. But this cult(ure) classic is slowly moving in another direction from being just a collectible. It’s about to get its own shows!

You heard right. The little figures that we typically buy to be collected has now become so popular that Disney has decided to create a stop-motion animated series that revolves around the lives of these plain looking Vinylmation characters who apparently fall in love. But before you jump to conclusions, you can take a look at the official teaser trailer of the web-only series coming to Disney.com soon. Take a look:

It’s certainly a different direction for the Vinylmation characters, but it may be a series worth watching when the 12 episode series officially debuts soon. If all else fails, the web series will for sure give the Vinylmation figurines even more exposure and more of them to be bought.
