We recommend making your reservations immediately as they are going fast. Our sources are saying that opening day of the restaurant on June 15 (which is also the opening day of Buena Vista Street and Cars Land) is already booked up. As of this writing, June 16 is already booked up as well.

In the meantime, take a look at the various foods that will be served at the new restaurant which will be serving both lunch and dinner – BOTH need reservations. All the food reflect the contemporary Southern California cuisine – seasonal, artisanal ingredients; locally sourced produce, seafood and meats; hand-crafted cocktails, and California craft beers and wines.

If that cuisine sounds familiar, then you’ll also notice that its the near same cuisine of the Napa Rose, Disney’s fine dining establishment inside the Grand Californian Hotel. The same chef of the Napa Rose our good friend Andrew Sutton has developed the menu and will split his time between the Napa Rose and the new Carthay Circle Restaurant. Another chef from Napa Rose named Gloria Tae will take the helm of that Carthay Circle kitchen overall.

Although the full menus are not available yet, our sources are saying that prices for this place will mimic Napa Rose with entrees ranging from $18-$43 and desserts ranging from $8-$12. Pricey indeed, but we are sure that the quality and taste of this food will be worth it. Annual Passholders will be glad to know that they can use their discount here!

It is also worth noting that attire to this restaurant is casual, not formal.

The restaurant will hold 256 people with 200 seated inside and 56 seated outside on a terrace. Also, diners to Carthay Circle will get center placement viewing of World of Color the same night they dine.

We look forward to bringing you some more tastiness from the Carthay Circle Restaurant on June 13, two days before it opens, to give you an sneak peek at what’s to come as part of our grand opening coverage!
