New Release Dates Announced For Upcoming Walt Disney Studios Films

Earlier last year, we announced some release dates to some of the upcoming movie releases from Walt Disney Studios.

Today, our friends at the Walt Disney Studios sent us an update to some of those films’ release dates, as well as some new films that have been announced for release too! Take note that these films will be released in 2014/2015, but we’re sure that they’re going to be worth the wait!

They include:

• The Muppets 2 (starring Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell) – releasing on 3/21/14.

• Captain America: The Winter Soldier (starring Chris Evans; will pick up where 1st movie left off and will be available in 3D) – releasing 4/4/14.

• Maleficent (starring Angelina Jolie; will tell the story of the villan from “Sleeping Beauty”) – releasing 7/2/14.

• Guardians of the Galaxy (from Marvel; will be available in 3D) – releasing 8/1/14.

• 1952 (Tomorrowland) (starring George Clooney; will be available in 3D) – releasing 12/19/14.

• Pirates of the Caribbean 5 (starring Johnny Depp) – releasing 7/10/15.
