California Cruisin’ With Pixar

We told you all earlier this year that we’d now be writing about the various Disney Cruise Line trips that would be sailing from Southern California. The reason why we’re doing this is to better get understand that Disney’s entertainment offerings expand far beyond our SoCal theme parks and Downtown Disney.

The first cruise that we’d like to highlight is a past cruise that Disney added a few sailings of to its itinerary choices and featured a new level of entertainment as seen through the eyes of Pixar.

In a nutshell, Pixar took over one of the Disney Cruise Line ships to take passengers on adventures that go up and down the California coast…and they all left from our local Port of Los Angeles!

During the voyages, guests were able to interact with various Pixar creatives including John Lasseter to get a better understanding of how Pixar creates great films. Guests also had the opportunity to be able to see some sneak peeks of Pixar’s upcoming works! Of course, there were meet-and-greet with your favorite Pixar characters as well.

Take a look at the video above hosted by John Lasseter for more detailed information!
