Catch the Ron Clements and John Musker film festival happening at the El Capitan Theatre

Just like the El Capitan Theatre’s previous film festival in anticipation of Zootopia, there will be another set of film screenings in anticipation of Ron Clements and John Musker’s latest work Moana. 

On select days from Oct. 6-16, Hollywood’s iconic movie palace – which celebrated its 90th anniversary this year – will celebrate the works of Clements and Musker and show six films from their repertoire. Each day will include showings at 10AM, 1PM, and 4PM with special 7PM showings featuring special guests who worked on the film. As an added treat, the first 50 guests in line for the 7PM showings will receive artwork from the film and get them autographed during meet-and-greets with the filmmakers.

Here is the official schedule for Countdown to Moana: The Films of Ron & John:

• October 6-7: The Little Mermaid ; October 6 at 7PM: Christopher Daniel Barnes (Prince Eric)

• October 8-9: The Princess and the Frog; October 8 at 7PM: Ron Clements and John Musker with Michael-Leon Wooley (voice of Louis)

• October 10: Treasure Planet; October 10 at 7PM: Ron Clements and John Musker

• October 11-12: The Great Mouse Detective; October 11 at 7M: TBA

• October 13-14: Hercules; October 13 at 7PM: Ron Clemens and John Musker with Susan Egan (voice of Meg)

• October 15-16: Aladdin; October 15 at 7PM: Ron Clemens and John Musker with Brad Kane (singing voice of Aladdin)

Guests can also purchase the VIP Preferred Animation Celebration Package to reserve a seat during all special 7PM screenings as well as guarantee an autographed piece of artwork.
