Cool Summer Entertainment at the new DCA!
How do you cool down during a hot summer day at the Disneyland Resort? You sit and watch the various parades and shows…preferrably in the shade.
In addition to all the awesome new attractions in Cars Land and Buena Vista Street, there will be a variety of news shows that are to be introduced as well!
Buena Vista Street is all about getting a blast from Walt’s past and when Disney California Adventure opens June 15 guests will see their favorite Disney characters in a whole new era…
Mickey, Goofy, and Chip ‘n’ Dale go 20s and 30s! Each character will be dressed to look as if they emerged from Walt’s early days in Los Angeles. Its some of our favorite costumes we’ve seen them wear!
In addition to that, summertime over at Hollywood Land (formerly Hollywood Pictures Backlot) is going to be the place for music, dancing, trivia, and of course more characters to see. All this will be held in an event called “Dancing with Disney” which will be located in Stage 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. everyday.
Lastly, lets not forget about Paradise Park! Our good pal Goofy will be leading an “orchestra” of water instruments to perform mini-concerts daily all summer long with a little surprise that guests will have to see to figure out…so go see it…
