Broadway: Aladdin’s New Agrabah

It isn’t Agrabah, but Disney thinks that Aladdin would feel at home on Broadway. In just a few days, the curtain will lift on the newest Disney stage production telling the tale of a boy looking for love in high places. Aladdin on Broadway is promising to delight audiences with the classic tale from the hit animated movie along with the magical surprises that come with a Broadway production.

The whole production isn’t “new” exactly as versions of the production have been playing on and off around the United States since 2011, including the continuing production playing at Disney California Adventure Park. This, however, will be the first time that the production makes it to Broadway in New York and that is certainly a big deal! That “big deal” includes a great cast, vivid costumes and set pieces, and of course the memorable old and new music (from veteran composer Alan Menken)!
