Disney’s Maker Studios and PewDiePie launch ‘Revelmode’

Earlier this month, the biggest YouTube star announced the creation of Revelmode, an entertainment network creating original content! Under Disney’s Maker Studios, PewDiePie and Friends will create “anything that is awesome in the eyes of the fans.”

Joining PewDiePie will be Kwebbelkop, CinnamonToastKen, EmmaBlackery, Jelly, CutiePieMarzia, JackSepticeye, Markiplier and Dodger. “Together we will focus on creating one-off videos, original series, gamey games, animatoons, music, clothes, charity drives and more,” said PewDiePie.

While networks may be seen in a negative light, Felix Kjellberg (known better as PewDiePie) clarified that while they may lose ‘hipster cred,’ “networks can be something very positive for everyone involved.” Kjellberg stated, “The vision for a network like Revelmode is that they should be something that helps channels on YouTube grow and reach their maximum potential.” In addition to helping channels grow, Revelmode also aims to ensure that they have the right resources needed to succeed.

Aside from the fun that they will have creating new content for their almost 80 million combined subscribers they will also focus on charitable programs and community events too.
