DCA Expansion – Phase 2

The second phase of the DCA revamp is about to begin on Monday, 8/29! The day before will be your last chance to walk through the already destroyed Sunshine Plaza for the last time.

On Monday, 8/29, crews will then open up the alternate entry pathway that guests, both coming in and out of the Park, will use to enter DCA!

We’ll still be using the new Pan-Pacific turnstiles, but will be funneled through behind Soarin’ over California into a temporary walkway that will be lined with concept renderings of the new DCA once completed.

The artwork will be great and all, but what I’m more worried about is the fact that there will be a two traffic walkway! The walkway, shown above as well, shows how difficult that will be to accomplish. We’ll be there Monday afternoon and will report back on Facebook with how Disney will handle it. Trusting they will!
