Disney D23 announces new family membership option, details on 2015 D23 Expo

D23, the Official Disney Fan Club announced changes to their membership tiers at a press gathering in Orlando, Florida today.

Beginning in 2015, D23 Gold Family Membership will be made available that’ll allow a member and up to 3 guests access to D23 events and promotions. Cost will be an additional $25 to the Gold membership level currently priced at $79.99.

D23 Silver Membership was discontinued today and is no longer available. Those who currently have Silver membership will still have the privileges associated until the membership expires.

In addition to the membership announcements, D23 also shared some news on the upcoming D23 Expo returning to the Anaheim Convention Center from August 14-16, 2015. Their StagePass system, costume contest, and daily floor entertainment will return as offerings, as well as the Disney Legends ceremony and the largest Walt Disney Archives exhibit to date.
