Disney gains 8 nominations for the 2017 Oscars
2016 was a great year for Disney! From Zootopia to Rogue One and everything in between, last year’s Disney movies have struck a chord with audiences – and now, it seems with the Academy. Disney and their affiliated companies like Marvel and Lucasfilm have gained a grand total of 8 nominations, highlighting the company’s success within the last year. The nominations were announced in a live video, which you can see above.
