Disney in Concert: A Silly Symphony Celebration and other special Disney Music features to premiere at D23 Expo 2015

This year’s D23 Expo will feature the live world premiere of Disney in Concert: A Silly Symphony Celebration, hosted by film historian Leonard Maltin. The concert will present Silly Symphony shorts, such as the Three Little Pigs, The Old Mill, and many more, accompanied by live music played by a 32-piece orchestra. The 70-minute concert will be played twice on Sunday, August 16 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Stage 23.

Additionally the Disney Music Emporium will be hosting their own pop up shop at the Expo, featuring album signings by composers and producers as well as vinyls, music books, lithographs, and posters available for purchase. Guests will also be able to pre-order the The Silly Symphony Collection box set, which contains soundtracks from all 75 Silly Symphony shorts on 16 vinyl LPs.

The concert and the shop will be featured at this year’s D23 Expo from August 14-16.
