Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes Collector’s Edition and Sony PlayStation bundle announced

Although the gaming trade show of the year has come and gone, Disney Interactive still has many Marvel-ous surprises in store for those that are eager to get their hands on their newest version of their flagship game.

Disney Infinity 2.0 will feature Marvel super heroes and if you want to play with Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Captain America, you’ll be happy to know that all of them will be included in the newly announced Collector’s Edition only for PS3 or PS4. You’ll even receive the Hulk figure 30 days before he’s released to the general public! The Collector’s Edition will also come with a special glowing display, seen below, that’ll proudly show off your Avengers figures (including a 7th character which will be announced soon). It all retails of $179.99.

In addition to the Collector’s Edition, Disney Interactive also announced a partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment creating a PlayStation Hardware Bundle that includes a PS3 console and a Disney Infinity 2.0 Starter Pack (which includes the Iron Man, Thor, and Black Widow figures). The PlayStation Hardware Bundle will retail for $249.99.

Both the PS3/4 Collector’s Edition and Hardware Bundle will be available in the Fall when Disney Infinity 2.0 hits stores in the fall, but will be available for pre-order at Comic-Con in San Diego this week.
