Disney Infinity 2.0 feat. Marvel Super Heroes

It has been a little over a year since Disney Interactive, the gaming division of The Walt Disney Company released their biggest and boldest gaming platform they’ve ever created. When we first saw Disney Infinity at its world premiere event in Hollywood in a large press preview, we knew they were very serious in creating something that would stand the test of time like the rest of the Company’s stories and characters.

Ever since that launch though, reception of the game has been mediocre since its official public sale in August 2013. Although the game is available on pretty much every single gaming platform, gamers have yet to find a place in their hearts for a game that has been called the Disney version of “Minecraft”. Things are about to change though with the addition of more familiar characters and worlds thanks to Disney’s purchase of Marvel.

Marvel yesterday released a video teaser trailer that begins with the characters like Jack Sparrow, Sulley, and Mr. Incredible who already live and play in Infinity, but ends with the high-flying shield of Captain America himself. Although Disney Interactive or Marvel has not officially announced the addition of Marvel’s super heroes to the game, it is clear that we can expect them in the next version of the game that is officially titled “2.0.”

“Bring on the super heroes.”
