Is “The Lone Ranger” Worth Your Silver? A Review.

Leading up to it’s release, we all were looking forward to “The Lone Ranger.” With an all-star cast and crew that made the Pirates franchise films for Disney behind this retold western, we were already intrigued. Add to it the action-filled trailers and the opportunity to cover the world premiere of the film and you have one editorial/news team that was ready to giddy-up into their local theaters for a western of epic proportions.

Sadly, we didn’t get the chance to see the film until just a few days ago. And since the film had already been released, we were greeted by the reviews…most of which were negative and at least very surprising to us. Disney is already planning to write this movie off as a loss in their books, but we were just ready to put that label on this movie until we saw it for ourselves.

So here’s our review of the film. It differs slightly from the regular way we do reviews and that’s because we really wanted to just give you a straight forward answer on if you yourselves should go and watch the film.
