It’s time for another exciting edition to the DisneyExaminer Currents – a special column that sifts through the load of Disney news and picks out the best and need-to-know stories and lays them in a simple format!
It’s seems to be a hit with all of you every time we post one, so we’re glad to make it a regular column now. But without any further adieu, let’s get started with this edition. –
a) Aside from the attractions and various other foods, the Disneyland Resort is known for their candy canes! Each one is handmade and given out fresh only during the holiday season. They are great, though they cost $12.95 a stick. The schedule for remaining candy cane making dates and locations for 2012 are below –

December 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25
b) Ramone’s Body Shop has been expanded to the old Fastpass distribution location just to the side of Radiator Springs Racers entrance in Cars Land. There’s now more room to buy your favorite Cars…Land merch!
c) Take heed, indeed folks! The Indiana Jones attraction at Disneyland Park will reopen on December 7 (but officially on December 8) after a very lengthy refurbishment that brought with in new effects and show elements!
d) The MuppetVision 3D Theater in Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure Park has been converted to a holiday theater hosting the awesome animated hit that is Disney’s “Prep and Landing.” You can watch the 2nd short in the series “Naughty vs. Nice” in 3D now until January 6. It’s worth a watch, folks!
e) Mike and Sulley are back in theaters for a limited time this December. Be sure to watch “Monsters, Inc.” in Disney Digital 3D beginning December 19! Mike Wazowski!
f) Aside from the Christmas decorations inside the Parks at the Disneyland Resort, did you know there are some great decorations inside the various Resort Hotels? Walk to each one this holiday season and see for yourselves…or just click HERE.
g) Disneyland.com has just released an online program allowing you to create custom “holiday” Christmas cards with your favorite Disney characters. We hope many of you send out your own Christmas card to us! If you do, we’ll send you on of our very special letterpress Christmas card! More on how to get one from us a little later.
