Disneyland Decades [1990s, 2000s, & ~ with Jordan Poblete]

“I could remember making family trips to Disneyland once every year. It was almost like a tradition and I would always get so excited the night before a visit – so excited that I couldn’t sleep. That still hasn’t changed. Now that I have a pass, Disneyland has been my second home. Every time I go, the magic is still there.”

“In eighth grade I went to Disneyland with my band to march in the California Adventure parade. I went with my best friends and my crush at the time. Staying with my friends in the hotel we brought a ton of candy and games to have a great time. Before and after the parade we were allowed to go to Disneyland for 2 full days! What was unexpected is that my friends I was rooming with wanted to spend more time in the hotel than at the parks so I split up with them and found Michael who was a clarinet player in the band. I hadn’t talked to him too much before but we got to know each other and are still good friends to this day. He had a major crush on another girl in the band so we decided to go find them and see if we could hangout and ride some rides. They were more than happy to spend the day with us at Disneyland! From getting the girls to ride tower of terror to going on more romantic like Peter Pan we did it all together. We had a blast getting to know each other and after the trip we all became inseparable into high school. I will always remember Disneyland from then on as a magical place that brings people together.”

“As a child, I remember going to Disneyland meant being able to wear my princess outfits! I would wear my Princess Jasmine costume to the grocery store and to the movies. My mom would simply laugh and let me wear what I wanted. Disneyland meant being able to fully express my imagination! That imagination continued to grow into my adolescence. My trips to Disneyland consisted of escaping from reality and jumping into a realm of endless possibilities. Today, my love for that escape has driven my passion into Disney adulthood and professionalism. The opportunity to share with others Disney’s magical world and live in it daily is indescribable. My imagination would not be fulfilled without the stories, characters, songs, and dances that Disney has brought into my life!”

“As a kid, it was a tradition for my family to visit Disneyland every year. I didn’t have any pets growing up so it was ideal to play with animals whenever I got the opportunity to do so and the Big Thunder Ranch Petting Zoo just so happen to be one of my favorite places to interact with them. To this day, I absolutely adore baby goats and it’s quite obvious that I still loved them as a two-year old!”
