Disneyland Railroad and Rivers of America will re-open in 2017

So many fan-favorite attractions have closed this year (whether temporarily or for good), so it’s nice to finally hear that something is opening up again.

And happily, it’s not just one, but technically six attractions that are coming back in the summer of 2017 – the Disneyland Railroad and all attractions on the Rivers of America: Mark Twain Riverboat, Sailing Ship Columbia, Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes, and “Fantasmic!”

Of course the railroad and the river will never be the same, as next year’s opening will see a new riverbank and a new track for the train. Change, however, isn’t necessarily bad, and I’m sure these additions will be incredibly beautiful, and will, hopefully, add to the experience of fan favorites like the train ride and “Fantasmic!”

Visit Disneyland sometime in the summer of 2017 to see these changes come to life!
