Disneyland raises prices for 2015; Nearly $100 for adult 1-day ticket, $779 for Premium Pass

In what has become a regular occurrence every year, Disney Parks in the United States will once again be subject to admission ticket price increases with the latest one starting tomorrow, Sunday, February 22.

They have yet to publicly announce the new prices, but below is what you can expect.

At the Disneyland Resort in California, a 1-day, 1-park ticket for an adult (ages 10+) will rise $3 to $99. Upgrading to a Park Hopper ticket will now set you back $155, a $2 increase.

Annual Passes aren’t immune to the price increases. Premium Annual Passes (no blockout dates, parking included) will get a $80 increase pricing it now at $779.

East Coast Disney goers at Walt Disney World will also have their ticket prices increased with a 1-day, 1-park trip now costing $105.

Disney Parks once again has reasoned the price increases to demand and uniqueness in each visit. “A day at a Disney Park is unlike any other in the world, and there is strong demand for our attractions and entertainment.” Disneyland Resort spokeswoman Betsy Sanchez said in a statement to the OC Register. “We continually add new experiences, and many of our guests select multi-day tickets or annual passes, which provide a great value and additional savings.”

Overall, we’ve seen a 130% price increase since 2000 for tickets at Disneyland.

Since the new ticket prices won’t go into effect until Sunday, it is recommended that you purchase your tickets and passes in advance of your visit at today’s lower price to save a few dollars.

• Deluxe = $549 ($30 increase)

• SoCal = NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR NEW PURCHASES; can be renewed for $389

  • Parking will no longer be an add-on option to passes (except Premium for which it is still included)

• 3-day, 1-park ticket = $235 for adults ages 10+ ($9 increase) // $224 for children ages 3-9 ($9 increase)

• 3-day Park Hopper ticket = $275 for adults ages 10+ ($10 increase) // $264 for children ages 3-9 ($10 increase)

• 4-day, 1-park ticket = $260 for adults ages 10+ ($10 increase) // $245 for children ages 3-9 ($10 increase)
