Disneyland sent the goats from Big Thunder Ranch to a “forever home” farm.

Even though it was the simplest offering, Disneyland’s petting zoo in Big Thunder Ranch is about to close. It was a popular guest experience, for kids and adults alike as it was the only place in the park where you could pet live animals.

When it was announced earlier last year that Big Thunder Ranch and the accompanying petting zoo would close to make room for a Star Wars themed land, many seasoned guests begged to ask where the animals would be moved to.

Today, Disneyland gave us that answer with a video showing some of the goats already enjoying their new home in Murrieta, CA. Take a look at the video above to meet Jenelle, the owner of the farm, where the goats and Disneyland’s other animals like sheep and donkeys will call home in just a few shorts days.

Disneyland Park’s Big Thunder Ranch Petting Zoo and a lot of other attractions will close next Monday, January 11.
