Mark your calendars! Here are some Disney events you don’t want to miss this month:
Happy Lunar New Year Celebration
February 5-8 11AM-5PM
Paradise Gardens in Disney California Adventure Park
2016 is the Year of the Monkey, and DCA is celebrating! Visit your friends Mushu, Mulan, Mickey, Minnie, Chip, and Dale as well as enjoy live music and performances, authentic Asian cuisine, and specialty merchandise. Disney invites all guests to partake and honor the traditions of Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese culture.
Artist Showcase with Gabby Zapata
February 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, 27-28 from 5-9PM
WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disney District
Gabby Zapata is an artist for Disney Interactive and is showcasing a new collection of art at WonderGround Gallery, as the Artist-in-Residence for February. She will be on-hand throughout the month to interact with guests and sign artwork. Swing by the gallery and say hi!
Lady and Tramp at the El Capitan Theatre
February 12-15
El Capitan Theatre
This classic Disney film tells the love story between a cocker spaniel named Lady and a mutt named Tramp. Nothing could be more romantic than watching Lady and Tramp with your valentine at the El Capitan Theatre in LA this Valentine’s Day weekend. You can even reserve a candlelit dinner at Miceli’s, “L.A.’s oldest Italian Restaurant,” before the movie.

Artist Showcase with Nidhi Chanani, Eunjung June Kim, and Jerrod Maruyama

Wonderground Gallery in Downtown Disney District
All these artists create wonderful renditions of your favorite Disney characters. They will be on-hand to talk with guests, sign artwork, and feature their latest work such as the debut of Maruyama’s 9″ Hipster Mickey Vinylmation.
Celebrate Gospel
February 13
Disneyland Resort
This year marks the 7th anniversary of the Celebrate Gospel event at the Disneyland Resort. This event celebrates gospel music as choirs from all over Southern California are invited to perform at Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure Park.
Valentine’s Day Weekend at the Disneyland Resort
This Valentine’s Day weekend, restaurants at the Disneyland Resort are offering special menu items to celebrate the holiday of love.
Highlights include:
Carthay Circle Restaurant: Three-course Sweetheart Dinner for Two featuring Steak Florentine and Chocolate Hearts for Two dessert (chocolate espresso and white chocolate raspberry served tableside with warm chocolate sauce)
Blue Bayou Restaurant: Sweetheart Duet (bacon-wrapped filet mignon) and Sweetheart Toast (sparkling cider served in a souvenir champagne flute with Blue Bayou logo)
Steakhouse 55: Three-course dinner paired with wines featuring a broiled mignon with morel mushroom fettuccine and asparagus and raspberry-white chocolate crunch cake
Napa Rose: Four-Course Country Valentine’s Day Dinner (February 14 only)
Storyteller’s Café: Bacon-wrapped filet mignon with a Cabernet reduction and lobster sun-dried tomato risotto
The resort will also be selling special Valentine’s Day cotton candy on February 14 at street cart vendors.
