End of Line Dance-Off

How do you make ElecTRONica more electrifying? By having a dance crew battle of course! Disney announced earlier this month that they would be holding a dance crew competition called Tron City’s Dance Crew Challenge as a way to end ElecTRONica’s run in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot in Disney California Adventure.

Those competitions began this week:

TM Juniors went head-to-head against Instant Noodles on the 19 & 20 at ElecTRONica and fought all the way to the derezzing. They will be moving on to the semi-finals as ElecTRONica inches closer to the closing of the grid. Expect them to be performing again at the Power Surge stage on April 12 & 13.

In addition, Tron City welcomes back two dance crews who have performed here in the past, Team Millennia and Kaba Modern! They will be performing on Friday and Saturday, so make sure you come down to California Adventure to support your favorite team!

Here are the upcoming dates on Tron City’s Dance Crew Challenge:

• Round 2: March 23 and 24

• Round 3: March 30 and 31

• Round 4: April 6 and 7

• Semi-Finals: April 12 and 13

• Finals: April 14

• Winning Announcement and Encore: April 15 (Last day of ElecTRONica)

ElecTRONica will make way for a new nighttime experience called Mad T-Party, a play on the Mad Hatter’s tea party from Alice In Wonderland. The party begins this summer!
