Enjoy this beautiful drone footage of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge construction at Disneyland

While much of the progress and details on the Star Wars-themed lands coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts have been kept under wraps, Disney has slowly been releasing teases of what will be known as Batuu.

Today, the company released drone footage of the construction site in Anaheim, California. In the video above, you can see progress hurrying along, though most of the footage is of dirt and steel.

Our sources have confirmed that most of the structures themselves are built and the Imagineering “show team” is moving in to put in the actual pieces and color to make it look like a place from space.

Construction will continue through 2018 with a targeted opening date sometime in 2019, with the California location at Disneyland to open first. Wouldn’t it be great if it were to open alongside the world premiere of Star Wars Ep. 9?!
